Mama Tola Secondary School

Lorena Kelly, a Methodist missionary from Western North Carolina, created the Mama Tola Secondary School in the 1960's. Mama Tola was her Congolese name which has become a tradition and honor for missionaries. The school, now co-ed, but initiatied as a girls' school, provides education and training, including sewing and cooking, and technology.
