The new Pediatric Medical Building’s ground-breaking occurred Sept. 19. “This was a celebration of a dream for Mpasa for many years and is a culmination of so much prayer, preparation, and sacrificial giving by many people both in Congo and among our U.S. Partner Conferences,” wrote the Bakers on the Partnership’s Facebook page.

And the building was completed and dedicated in June of 2017. The additional space provides two well-equipped operating rooms, a patient ward exclusively for children, and other resources such as an incubator for premature babies, an ultrasound machine and refrigeration which includes a blood bank. And the entire Mpasa Medical Center relies solely on Solar Power! Praise the Lord!
